Cannot fault the location - couldn't be anymore convenient, both for the train and shops. Perfectly adequate room with a small but functional bathroom. Cannot fault the location - couldn't be anymore convenient, both for the train and shops. Perfectly adequate room with a small but functional bathroom. TV was a bit on the small side, really just a computer screen, but otherwise no real complaints. Breakfast was very nice - numerous choices for most everyone's taste. I had no trouble with Wi-Fi. Would recommend and would stay again if I came back to Stuttgart.

The hotel is right in the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), so the location is great. However, be warned that the station is under a massive renovation and hence surrounded by construction which made my room quite noisy during the day (as I tried to rest because of jet-lag). The hotel is right in the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), so the location is great. However, be warned that the station is under a massive renovation and hence surrounded by construction which made my room quite noisy during the day (as I tried to rest because of jet-lag). The construction has been going on for at least 3 years and the end does not look in the near future (they are putting the station underground). The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean, however the walls were a bit scuffed from luggage. The bathroom was small, modern & very clean.

LOCATION: Very central, directly at (in) the main station - as usual for an InterCity hotel. ROOMS: My superior room was very spacious. The hotel and room itself are rather old than modern. INTERNET: In my room and in the breakfast room, I couldn’t connect my notebook. My smartphone received a poor internet connection, but it was constantly interrupted. As I was aiming to work in the evening/morning, it was very annoying not to be able to go online. The guy at the reception told me he would call the provider (apparently, it happens often that the internet connection doesn’t work for notebook), and that the provider then would call me, but nothing happened. BREAKFAST: There are many choices at the buffet. I especially liked the müsli and tea selection. Nevertheless, the tables were not clean which made a bad impression on me. SERVICE: Not convincing (sorry): Staff in the evening told me to fix the internet/call the provider and nothing happened (I didn’t even get an update). Nevertheless, the guy in the morning was very friendly and efficient during check-out. VALUE FOR MONEY: Clearly too expensive

Visited here for night to attend the local Cannstatter Wasen Festival. Location wise this is very good. It forms part of the train station so is ideal for hopping on the train or underground. Visited here for night to attend the local Cannstatter Wasen Festival. Location wise this is very good. It forms part of the train station so is ideal for hopping on the train or underground. It is also very good for local shops as it is right next to some shops in the station or a minutes walk into the main shopping precinct so ideal for that. I have the say the room itself was dated and a little disappointing to say the least. The rooms could do with modernising. Mine was large but somewhat run down. The shower was poor and had no power, the walls looked grubby and unclean and the feel of the place just felt tired. Bearing in mind we were only staying for the festival then I suppose it's not too bad but if I was looking to stay in the room longer I'd probably choose elsewhere. The hotel has a small bar/seating area which isn't really adequate but I suppose there's far more choice in the city itself. I'd say this is OK for a cheapish stay but not long term.
